I have an awkward corner cabinet in my kitchen which just happens to be my largest storage space. That’s why my pots and pans live in there, but the lids are a mess.

I’ve tried a vertical rack, stacking lids with their pots, even turning them upside down, but storing them has always been a nightmare, especially as I have chronic pain and bending or crouching down at length to find what I need is not great for my body. Then I tried a set of Joseph Joseph adhesive pot lid holder for doors, (available cheaper on Amazon today), and the tsunami of cookware that usually tumbles out when I open the door has finally come to an end.

It’s helped me make use of the vertical storage space inside the cabinet door and simultaneously stopped me injuring myself just to get a lid I need. It’s the perfect kitchen storage idea ahead of busy hosting duties this Christmas holidays that will see this cabinet in constant use.

Installation took less than five minutes and was easy. I made sure to leave them stuck on for 24 hours before loading my pan lids, as I’d read online beforehand that shoppers who didn’t allow the instructed time found the holders fell off and were not sticky enough to reapply a second time around.

I allowed the adequate time and they are rock solid now, and I’ve been using them for a week. To be honest, I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. It’s such a simple solution for the biggest bug bear I had in my kitchen.

I have a number of painful chronic health conditions, including hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and my joints dislocate at the slightest provocation. That’s why my pan cabinet had become a 'no-go' zone for me, and I had to call in my husband to get me what I needed every time I was well enough to cook.

Now, what I need is right there when I open the cabinet. It’s made the space not only tidier, but more accessible too. It's really helped me organize my cabinets to improve functionality in my small kitchen.

Lindsey Davis, H&G eCommerce director, says, 'I had the Folio 4-Piece Cutting Board Set, but I ended up using just two as I don't cook meat or fish so I streamlined to this smaller set. It fits in the cabinet with a super low profile and barely impacts internal space whilst keeping counters cutting-board-free.
